Real Madrid and Portugal international Cristiano
Ronaldo is now said to have agreed to pay
£16.5m fine after tax fraud case for a two-year
jail term to be suspended.
Since the superstar was accused of tax fraud by
the Spanish authority, Ronaldo has been seeking
an agreement with all the bodies concerned.
Last year after the accusation, Ronaldo was said
to have offered around £12.9m, but was rejected
by the government.
And according to the latest report by UK Sun,
Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted four charges of
fraud and will pay mega amount to the Spanish
authority.
The latest development means Cristiano Ronaldo
can now put the issue behind him and focus on
his campaign with Portugal at the 2018 FIFA
World Cup.
He is expected to lead Portugal against Spain in
their Group B opener on Friday night, July 15, at

the 2018 FIFA World Cup championship.
