A makeup artist, who gave the young lady a makeover shared the touching story on Instagram. Read below:

"Today was an amazing day, once again I had the pleasure of doing makeup for the amazing Assya Shabir.

Assya is Lucky to have so many loving friends and family around her who made today magically possible. Assya has had to struggle with a lifelong health condition called Epidermolysis bullosa.

Assya has always dreamt of being a Bride, however due to her health condition has not been able fulfill this dream, so today Assya got the opportunity to dress as a Bride (without a groom) and have her very own wedding like celebration except instead of getting married her loved ones are celebrating her life.

Assya's incredible warmth, humbleness and bubbly pesonality is inspirational and she is a credit to her friends and family.
It feels amazing to have been a part of Assya's journey and to see her so confident and smile again after spending a lot of time in hospital this year. Wishing Assya a very happy and healthy life!"
