Woman narrowly escapes being crushed by a tree in storm Irma

A female driver was nearly crushed by a falling tree during the catastrophic storm Irma. The heart-stopping moment was caught on video and has been shared online.
In the video captured on Monday in Spalding County, Georgia, US, a car is seen driving down a lonely road as rain falls heavily. Without warning, a pine tree fell, crashing down in the middle of the road just as the white-coloured Lexus gets to that point and it sends the Lexus into the air briefly before the driver expertly slammed the brakes.
The entire incident was caught on the dashboard camera of a car following behind. The man driving the car behind the Lexus said the woman was "shaken" but unharmed in the accident.
Michael Head said: "I was coming from downtown Griffin and was heading home, and I had been following the car for a while - She (the driver of the Lexus) slammed on the brakes. Thank God she saw it in time. She was shaken, but OK - I think she was more scared about the fraction of a second of what could have happened. If she had been looking at the radio or on her phone, it would have been a different story."
Mr Head said he called 911 and the woman's husband and waited with her until police arrived
